How to use Advance Reservation
This is a curb-to-curb service you may use to travel anywhere within designated service areas. To ride, you need to make a reservation at least one day in advance by calling the SMART reservation number for your community.

Calling to reserve a trip
Customer Service Operators are on duty to take your call from 6:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
For medical trips, reservations may be made up to 6 days in advance. For all other trips, reservations may be made up to 2 days in advance. All reservations must be received no later than 2pm on the day before service is needed.
When calling, please have the following information ready to give to the Customer Service Operator:
The date of the trip
Pick-up and destination addresses
Major intersection streets near the pick-up and destination (if known)
Your telephone number
Pick-up and return times
Number of passengers
Any needed mobility aids such as a wheelchair
Fares
The Customer Service Operator will let you know the fare ($1.00 for seniors and people with disabilities, $2.00 for others).
Please be ready
Connector buses may arrive up to ten minutes before or after the scheduled pick-up time. Please be ready – Drivers can only wait up to 3 minutes for you.
If your plans change…
Please call the reservation office as soon as possible and let us know so we can re-schedule or cancel your trip.

Group trips
Want to reserve a bus for a group of five or more passengers? Ask the Customer Service Operator about group trips (reservations depend on schedule availability).
