DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE STATEMENT

The Board of Directors for the Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) has established a goal for the participation by disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) in the contracting of goods and services.  The goal is a minimum of an annual average of fifteen percent (15%) of the Authority’s qualified annual total expenditures.

All awards for the purchase of goods and services will be based in part on an evaluation of how the bidder/proposer assists SMART in achieving this goal.

DBE certification is the responsibility of SMART’s Office of Contract Compliance.  If you, your company, or any subcontractor, have reason to believe you qualify, or if you have any questions, please contact the Office of Contract Compliance in one of the following ways:
