Due to the annual Americas Thanksgiving Day Parade and Turkey Trot on Thursday November 27, 2025, Route 261 FAST Michigan will be on detour until 4:00 PM, or until streets are clear. The detour is as follows:

Eastbound: Regular route on eastbound Michigan Ave, left 1^st, right Bagley, right Cass, right Michigan Ave, last drop off at AT&T bldg.

Please note that the following eastbound stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Cass & Michigan, Woodward & Clifford, Washington & Lafayette, Washington & Fort, Larned & Griswold, Larned & Woodward.

Westbound: First stop is on Michigan west of Cass at AT&T, regular route. (During the detour, route will leave AT&T stop at ‘Rosa Parks’ time listed on schedule).

Please note that the following westbound stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Jefferson & Randolph, Jefferson & Griswold, Washington & Lafayette, Washington & Fort, Woodward Ave & Clifford.

Southbound: Regular route to Grand Blvd, right Grand Blvd, left John C. Lodge Fwy Service Dr, left onto John C. Lodge Fwy (M10), left Exit 2B (Bagley Ave), right Cass, last stop is on southbound Cass, north of Michigan Ave, across from Rosa Parks Transit Center.

Please note the following southbound FAST stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Woodward between Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Clifford, Washington and Lafayette, Washington and Fort, Larned & Griswold, Larned & Woodward, and Larned & Brush.

The southbound bus will only pick up and drop off at the following stops along the detour routing: On the northwest corner of Woodward before Grand Blvd, and the SMART stop across from Rosa Parks Transit Center.

Northbound: First stop is on northbound Cass north of Michigan at Rosa Parks Transit Center, continue north on Cass, left Bagley, continue onto John C Lodge Fwy (M10), right Exit 4C (Milwaukee Ave/W Grand Blvd), right Grand Blvd, left first turn back past Woodward, left onto westbound Grand Blvd, right Woodward, regular route.

Please note the following northbound FAST stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Jefferson and Beaubien, Jefferson and Spirit Plaza, Jefferson and Griswold,  Washington and Fort, Washington and Lafayette,

Northbound Woodward between Witherell and Grand Blvd.

Northbound:  First pick up is on westbound Jefferson, west of Griswold, left Washington Blvd., left eastbound Jefferson, left first turnback past Randolph, right Randolph past Larned, regular route.

Please note the following northbound stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Larned & Griswold, and Larned & Woodward.

Due to activities on Woodward Ave between Grand Blvd and Larned, Route 261 FAST Michigan will be on detour Wednesday, November 26, 2025, only, beginning at 9:00 am until the end of the day as follows:

Westbound: Regular route on northbound Washington to Michigan Ave, left Michigan Ave, regular route.

Please note that the stop at Woodward Ave & Clifford will not be serviced during this detour.

Eastbound: Regular route on eastbound Michigan Ave past Cass Ave, right Washington Blvd, regular route.

Please note that the following eastbound stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Cass & Michigan, Woodward & Clifford.

Passengers normally deboarding on Cass can deboard at the SMART stop on Michigan & Cass.

Due to activities on Woodward Ave between Grand Blvd and Congress, Routes 461/462 FAST Woodward will be on detour Wednesday, November 26, 2025, only, beginning at 9:00 am until the end of the day as follows:

Southbound: Regular route to Grand Blvd, right Grand Blvd, left John C. Lodge Fwy Service Dr, left onto John C. Lodge Fwy (M10), left Exit 2B (Bagley Ave), right Third Ave, left Michigan Ave, right Washington, regular route

Please note the following southbound FAST stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: Woodward between Grand Blvd and Clifford.

Northbound: Regular route on northbound Washington Blvd, left Michigan Ave, right Third Ave, left Bagley, continue onto John C Lodge Fwy (M10), right Exit 4C (Milwaukee Ave/W Grand Blvd), right Grand Blvd, left first turnback past Woodward to westbound Grand Blvd, right Woodward, regular route.

Please note the following northbound FAST stops will not be serviced while this detour is in effect: northbound Woodward between Witherell and Grand Blvd.

Due to activities on Woodward Ave between Grand Blvd and Congress, Route 851 W. Bloomfield-Farmington Hills P & R will be on detour Wednesday, November 26, 2025, only, beginning at 9:00 am until the end of the day as follows:

Northbound: Regular route to eastbound Warren Ave, right Anthony Wayne Dr, right Forest Ave, right John C. Lodge Fwy Service Dr, left onto John C. Lodge Fwy (M10), right Exit 4C (Milwaukee Ave/W Grand Blvd), right Milwaukee Ave, left Cass Ave, regular route.

Passengers normally boarding on Griswold, and on Fort at Griswold can board at SMART stops on either westbound Jefferson just east of Griswold (FAST stop) or at northbound Washington Blvd and Lafayette.

Southbound: Will operate on regular route.

Due to the Big Bright Light Show on Rochester Rd, in the city of Rochester, Route 492 Rochester will be on detour effective Monday November 24, 2025, from 5:00 pm, until 10:00 pm, as follows:

Northbound:  Regular route on northbound Rochester Rd to Diversion, right Diversion, left continue on Diversion, left First/Mill, right Walnut Blvd, left University Dr, regular route.

Southbound:  Regular route on eastbound University Dr to Walnut Blvd, right Walnut Blvd, left First/Mill, right Diversion, right continue on Diversion, left Rochester Rd, regular route.

Passengers may board and deboard at temporary stops on northbound Walnut Blvd, just south of University Dr, and southbound Walnut Blvd, just south of Fourth.

Construction on Central Park Blvd has been completed. Therefore, Route 405 Northwestern Hwy will resume regular routing, effective immediately.

Due to construction on Michigan Ave in the intersection of Outer Dr, Route 275 Telegraph Taylor/Tele-12 will be on detour effective immediately, as follows:

Northbound: Regular route on eastbound Michigan Ave past Outer Dr. left 1^st turnback to westbound Michigan Ave, right Outer Dr, regular route.

Southbound: Will operate on regular route.

Construction in the vicinity of eastbound Jefferson Ave at Mill has been completed. Therefore, the eastbound bus stop located in this area has been reopened, effective immediately.

Construction on westbound Maple Rd between Adams Rd and Doyle Dr has been completed. Therefore, Routes 460 Woodward and 780 15 Mile Crosstown will return to regular routing, effective immediately.

Due to sewer construction work on Jefferson, north of 9 Mile Rd to Fresard, Route 615 will be on detour effective immediately, until further notice as follows:

Southbound: Regular route on southbound Jefferson to 10 Mile Rd, right 10 Mile Rd, left Greater Mack Ave past 9 Mile Rd, regular route.

Northbound: Regular route on northbound Greater Mack past 9 Mile Rd, right 10 Mile Rd, left Jefferson Ave, regular route.

Construction on 10 Mile Rd between Ryan Rd and Lorraine Ave has been completed. Therefore, Route 730 will resume regular routing, effective immediately.

Due to discontinued service on the Southland Mall property, Route 125 Fort St-Eureka Rd will be on detour beginning Monday, November 10, 2025, until further notice as follows:

Northbound:  Regular route on eastbound Eureka Rd past Pardee Rd, past Racho Rd, regular route.

Southbound:  Regular route on westbound Eureka Rd past Pardee Rd, regular route.

Passengers may board/deboard at any bus stop from Pardee Rd to Racho Rd.

Due to discontinued service on the Southland Mall property, Route 160 Downriver will be on detour beginning Monday, November 10, 2025, until further notice as follows:

Southbound: Regular route to southbound Pardee Rd past driveway by Target into Southland Mall, left Eureka Rd past Racho Rd, regular route.

Northbound: Regular route to northbound Pardee Rd past 1^st driveway into Southland Mall, past driveway by Target, regular route.

Passengers may board/deboard at any bus stop from Pardee Rd to Racho Rd, and on Pardee Rd north of Eureka Rd.

Southbound: Regular route to southbound Pardee Rd past driveway by Target, left Eureka Rd, last stop on eastbound Eureka Rd in front of Hantz Financial Services.

Passengers may board/deboard at any bus stop on Pardee Rd north of Eureka Rd.

Construction on Rutland Ave between 9 Mile Rd and Northwestern Hwy Service Dr, and the continued closure of the southbound M-10 entrance ramp has ended. Therefore, Route 851 West Bloomfield-Farmington Hills P & R has resumed regular routing.

Due to the closure of Beaubien south of Larned for crane work, Routes 805 and 851 will be on detour effective immediately until further notice, as follows:

Eastbound 805 and Southbound 851:  Regular route on eastbound Larned past Beaubien, left Chrysler Dr, regular route.

Westbound 805 and Northbound 851:  Will operate on regular route.

Please note: The last eastbound/southbound stop is on eastbound Larned just east of Brush.

Due to construction on westbound 13 Mile Rd east of Van Dyke Ave, Route 760 13 Mile-14 Mile will be on detour effective immediately, until further notice as follows:

Eastbound: Regular route on Old 13 Mile Rd to Washington Blvd, right Washington Blvd, left Kennedy Cir, left Common Rd, left Hoover Rd, right 13 Mile Rd, regular route.

Westbound: Regular route on 13 Mile Rd to Hoover Rd, left Hoover Rd, right Common Rd, right N Civic Center Dr, right Van Dyke Ave past Old 13 Mile Rd, past Van Dyke exit ramp to westbound 14 Mile Rd, left entrance to Walmart Shopping Center, immediate left onto service road, left exit to 14 Mile Rd, right 14 Mile Rd, regular route.

Due to the water main repair work on westbound 14 Mile Rd west of Groesbeck Hwy, Routes 525 Groesbeck and 550 Garfield buses will be on detour effective immediately as follows:

Northbound: Will operate on regular route.

Southbound 550: Regular route to eastbound 14 Mile Rd, right Groesbeck Hwy, left Masonic Blvd, left Gratiot Ave, left 2nd turnback past Masonic to southbound Gratiot Ave, regular route.

Southbound 525: Regular route to southbound Groesbeck Hwy past 14 Mile Rd, left Masonic Blvd, left Gratiot Ave, left 2nd turnback past Masonic to southbound Gratiot Ave, regular route.

Due to construction on Racho Blvd next to Southland Mall, Routes 125 Fort St-Eureka Rd and 160 Downriver will be on detour, effective immediately until further notice as follows:

Northbound 125 and Southbound 160: Regular route to Outer Roadway past JC Penney past driveway to Racho Blvd, right 1^st driveway to Pardee Rd, left Pardee Rd, left Eureka Rd past Racho Blvd, regular route.

460 Northbound and 780 Eastbound:   Regular route on eastbound Maple Rd to Adams Rd, left Adams Rd, right Big Beaver Rd, right Golfview Dr past Coolidge,  regular route.

460 Southbound and 780 Westbound:   Will operate on regular route.

Due to road work on Oakwood Blvd north of Rotunda Dr, Route 140 Southshore will be on detour effective immediately, until further notice as follows:

Southbound:  Regular route to eastbound Michigan Ave past 1^st turnback, right Southfield Fwy Service Dr, right Rotunda Dr, left Oakwood Blvd, regular route.

Northbound:  Regular route to Oakwood Blvd, right Rotunda Dr, left Southfield Fwy Service Dr, right ramp to Michigan Ave West, left 1^st turnback past Evergreen Rd to eastbound Michigan Ave, regular route.

Please note: All trips to Henry Ford Academy must remain on regular route.

Due to construction on 10 Mile Rd between Ryan Rd and Lorraine Ave, and road closure between Lawrence and Mound Rd, Route 730 will be on detour, beginning Monday, April 28, 2025, until further notice as follows:

Westbound:  Regular route to Hoover Rd, left Hoover Rd, right 9 Mile Rd, right Mound Rd past 10 Mile Rd, left 1^st turnback to southbound Mound Rd, right 10 Mile Rd, regular route.

Due to construction on Garfield Rd between 14 Mile Rd and 15 Mile Rd, Route 550 Garfield will be on Detour effective immediately until further notice as follows:

Southbound: Regular route to 15 Mile Rd, right 15 Mile Rd, left Utica Rd, left 14 Mile Rd past Garfield Rd, regular route.

Northbound: Regular route on westbound 14 Mile Rd past Garfield Rd, right Utica Rd, right 15 Mile Rd, left Garfield Rd, regular route.

Due to the closure of Larned between St. Antoine and I-375, Routes 255, and 830 will be on detour effective immediately until further notice, as follows:

Eastbound:  Regular route to Larned. End route at Larned and Brush stop.

Westbound:  Will operate on regular route.

Due to the closure of Larned between St. Antoine and I-375, Routes 620 Charlevoix, and 635 East Jefferson will be on detour effective immediately until further notice, as follows:

Southbound: Will operate on regular route.

Due to road construction on M53 north of 18 Mile Rd, trips on Route 510 may run behind at times, especially during rush hour until further notice. Your patience during this time is appreciated.

Passengers should consider taking earlier trips when they must reach their destination at a specific time.

Due to the closure of Lakeside Mall the bus stop at the mall entrance as well as the stop on eastbound Hall Rd east of Schoenherr will be closing on Monday, October 21, 2024.  Routes 510 Van Dyke, 530 Schoenherr, and 550 Garfield will no longer pull up to Lakeside Mall but will instead use the stops on Southcove Drive at Kohl’s and McDonald’s as their starting and ending points.  Routes will be redirected to these stops as follows:

Northbound 510 Van Dyke: Regular route to Schoenherr Rd, right Schoenherr Rd, left turn back past Southcove Dr (fourth turn back from Hall) to northbound Schoenherr Rd, right Southcove Dr, end route at stop on eastbound Southcove Dr at McDonald’s.

Southbound 510 Van Dyke: Begin route at stop on westbound Southcove Dr at Kohl’s, right Schoenherr Rd, right Hall Rd, left first turn back to westbound Hall Rd, regular route.

Northbound 530 Schoenherr: Regular route to eastbound Southcove Dr, end route on Southcove Dr at McDonald’s stop.

Southbound 530 Schoenherr: Begin route at stop on westbound Southcove Dr at Kohl’s, regular route.

Northbound 550 Garfield: Regular route to westbound Shoreline Dr, left Lakeside Circle, left Southcove Dr, end route at Kohl’s stop.

Southbound 550 Garfield: Begin route on westbound Southcove Dr at Kohl’s stop, right Schoenherr Rd, right Waterbury Dr, right Lakeside Circle, right Shoreline Dr, regular route.

Due to construction on the MLK Blvd bridge, the railroad crossing on South Blvd at Sanford, and on Square Lake Rd, Route 796 buses will be on detour effective Monday, August 19, 2024 until further notice as follows:

Eastbound: Regular route to southbound MLK Blvd, left South Blvd, right Centerpoint Pkwy to bus stop just west of Opdyke Rd.

Westbound: From layover left Opdyke Rd, left South Blvd, right MLK Blvd, regular route.

Due to gas line work on eastbound 9 Mile Rd just east of Hoover Rd, the bus stop at this location will be temporarily relocated 250 ft eastward effective Monday, April 1, 2024, until further notice.
