Due to the Ferndale Pride festival and rainbow run held on W. 9 Mile between Woodward Ave and Livernois, Route 710 Nine Mile will be on detour beginning Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 5:00 am to Sunday, May 31, 2026, 8:00 am as follows:
Westbound: Regular route on westbound 9 Mile Road to Woodward, right Woodward, left 1st turnback to southbound Woodward, right 8 Mile Road, right Pinecrest, left 9 Mile Road, regular route.
Eastbound: Regular route on eastbound 9 Mile Road to Pinecrest, right Pinecrest, left 8 Mile Road, left Woodward, right 9 Mile Road, regular route.
Drivers should be prepared to pick up and drop off along the detour route at any SMART bus stop, and any other location where a passenger flags the driver, and it is safe to do so.
