These service changes will be implemented in April, June and September 2027. Individual announcements will be posted on SMART's website ahead of each service change along with updated route schedules. Call SMART Customer Care for information at (866) 962-5515, Monday – Friday from 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
An interpreter for the hearing impaired will be made available if SMART is contacted seven (7) days prior to the public hearings. Comments will also be accepted by telephone via Michigan Relay: 711/866-962-5515 option #2.
For those unable to attend the meetings, written comments will be accepted through December 31, 2026. Written comments should be addressed to “Public Hearing” and mailed to SMART Administrative Offices, 535 Griswold Street, Suite 600, Detroit, MI 48226. Comments may also be emailed to PublicHearing@smartbus.org.
