SMART Sounding Board

We want YOUR feedback! Every second Wednesday of the month.  Members of our executive team and customer service teams will hold a 30-minute open ZOOM session for attendees to voice their opinions, suggestions and concerns in an effort to make SMART better for our riders.  This month's SMART Sounding Board will be Wednesday, January 10th at 5pm EST.  See below for ZOOM Details :

Macomb Expansion : Route 560 Gratiot Local

UPDATED ROUTES AND SCHEDULES

560 Gratiot Local is Expanding.

Beginning Monday, January 8th, route 560 Gratiot Local will begin serving new stops in Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore along 23 Mile from Gratiot to Cypress!

New key destinations include Henry Ford Health Macomb clinics, Aspen Creek apartments, Bayview Medical Center, Bayside Shopping Plaza, Redwood townhomes, New Baltimore Trade Center, Altman Plaza, Harbor Oaks psychiatric hospital, and 42nd District Court

Weekday and Saturday service: trips every hour from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday service: trips every other hour from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Public Participation will only be available for members of the public attending in person or those who email comments per the process outlined below. All physically present at the meeting must adhere to the following:

SMARTer Mobility Surveys Begin October 1st

What is the SMARTer Mobility Program

SMART launched the SMARTer Mobility Program in early 2023 to evaluate their fixed route/ADA, connector general service, and the current micro transit pilot program to aid in the evaluation and analysis of the services within the region.

The goals of the SMARTer Mobility Program are to:

      • Establish microtransit as a permanent service
      • Create a user-friendly app for all transit service
      • Ensure that services are integrated
      • Expand public transit within new service areas

SMARTer Mobility Survey Conductors can easily be identified by their SMARTer Mobility branded tee shirts and safety vests :

 

The surveys can be taken on the transit vehicle during your trip, from the website or if prefered, can be filled out on a paper version.  You can take the survey now electronically at https://smarter-mobility.org/
