Routing Changes

• 125 Fort-Eureka, 160 Downriver, 275 Telegraph-Taylor: Buses will no longer serve the stop in the Taylor Meijer parking lot. All routes will continue to serve Southland Center.
• 261 FAST Michigan: Buses will now serve Michigan Central Station. Look for the FAST signs along Michigan Avenue west of 14^th outside Roosevelt Park.
• 510 Van Dyke, 530 Schoenherr, 550 Garfield: The former Lakeside Mall bus stop is now closed. Board these routes on Southcove Drive east of Schoenherr.
• 805 Grand River Park & Ride: Service will return to the Beck Road Park & Ride Lot along Twelve Mile just east of I-96.

SMART Board of Directors Meeting will be held at 2pm at the Buhl Building downtown Detroit Thursday, December 5th.

Public Participation will only be available for members of the public attending in person or those who email comments per the process outlined below. All physically present at the meeting must adhere to the following: Please respect anyone needing or choosing to wear a mask. People with symptoms of COVID-19 or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask. People who are positive for COVID-19 may not attend the Meeting in person and should access the recording at the YouTube link below.

ROUTE 492 ROCHESTER

BIG BRIGHT LIGHT SHOW

DETOUR

NOVEMBER 25, 2024

Due to the Big Bright Light Show in the city of Rochester, Route 492 Rochester will be on detour effective Monday November 25, 2024, from 5:30 pm, until 9:30 pm, as follows:

Northbound:  Regular route on northbound Rochester Rd into Main to 2^nd, left 2^nd, right Walnut Blvd, left University Dr, regular route.

Southbound:  Regular route on eastbound University Dr to Walnut Blvd, right Walnut Blvd, left 2^nd, right Main, regular route.

Please note, from 6:50 pm until 7:20 pm the bridge on Main, south of 2^nd will be closed. Therefore, during this period only, buses will detour as follows:

Northbound:  Regular route on northbound Rochester Rd to Diversion, right Diversion, left continue on Diversion, left First/Mill, right Walnut Blvd, left University Dr,regular route.

Southbound:  Regular route on eastbound University Dr to Walnut Blvd, right Walnut Blvd, left First/Mill, right Diversion, right continue on Diversion, left Rochester Rd,regular route.

Passengers may board and deboard at temporary stops on northbound Walnut Blvd, just south of University Dr, and southbound Walnut Blvd, just south of Fourth.
